Production Area
MontGras Estate vineyard in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, located between the Coastal Range and the Andes.
Grape Varieties : 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenere, 28% Merlot, 20% Malbec.
Vinification
Grapes are hand-harvested. After a gentle crush, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. 60% of the blend is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels prior to bottling and release.
Color : Deep violet with ruby notes.
Bouquet : Powerful aromas of black currant, plum and spice, with nuances of cedar and vanilla.
Taste : Full-bodied and concentrated, with mouth-filling fruit, supple tannins and a lengthy finish.
Serving Suggestions : Well matched with red meats, hearty casseroles and flavorful cheeses.
