Cultivars hand harvest separately; grapes cooled down before crushed; fermentation and first 9 months ageing in wood separately. Blend, further 3 months in wood. Mostly French oak, 60% new wood. Blend of 55% Cab Sauv, 25% Merlot, 15% Shiraz and 5% Grenache. Bottled 31 March 2005.

An elegant well structured wine; honeybush tea, rose-petals, cedarwood and cloves on the nose; mocca-chocolate, red berries, stewed fruit and spices on the palate.
