It has the ancient, curious name of the area where our vineyard is planted (in the Abruzzo dialect “coccia pazza” means “crazy head”), as it is intended to be the best traditional expression of the Montepulciano in our land. The repeated harvests, normally three per vintage, are carried out in the plot with the best soil and climate conditions, capable of giving the fullest bodied and most mature wines.
TASTING NOTES: deep and dense ruby red, violet-shaded when young. The typical red fruit of Montepulciano, particularly rich and mature, is well balanced with the broad spicy flavours ranging from black pepper and liquorice to balsamic, chocolate and tobacco hints. Full volume, woven by a silky and mature tannin texture. Round and velvety with a long lasting finish.
