Appearance : Deep crimson red.
Bouquet : Very forthcoming on the nose. Fruit aromas of plum and blackcurrant. Cinnamon, spices and a minerality add to this amazing bouquet.
Palate : The spiciness carries through onto the palate. Luscious berry flavours, notably cherry, dominate the palate, with gentle mocha undertones.
Impression : Rich and expressive, this wine has presence. A full-bodied Shiraz, it displays good integration between fruit and wood, and its lingering finish suggests it to be a rewarding wine for drinking and enjoying with food.
Food pairing : The pleasant drinkability of this wine would be enhanced best with poultry or veal. The glorious complexity of flavours of a Cape-Malay chicken curry would be our preference.
