Appearance : Bright, ruby-red.
Bouquet : Inviting aromas of red berries, ripe fruits, and violets, developing into spices and green peppers on the nose as the wine opens up.
Palate : Excellent follow-through of supple berry flavours arriving on the palate, with good ripe tannins to ensure presence in this young wine. At first flavours of light chocolate can be found, but as the wine breathes teasing hints of stewed fruits especially peach and apricots appear. Good weight on the mid-palate, medium but delicious finish.
Impression : The wine presents an inviting, mouth filling drinking experience. A medium to full- bodied Merlot that is a true reflection of the grape.
Food pairing : This Merlot combines early drinkability with subtle complexity and can be paired with most flavoursome, but not spicy, dishes. Our suggestion would be a roasted rack of lamb with grilled vegetables.
